General Information

Utilities
Gas and electricity are included in the hire charge. Hot water in the toilets is included in the cost of the hire. It should be noted that use of the water in the toilets for anything other than personal washing is not allowed. An outside tap and sink are available.
Refuse
All rubbish must be placed in the refuse sacks provided and placed in the main dustbins in the car park. Please ensure that all surplus food is removed at the end of the event.
Hygiene
It is the responsibility of ALL camp leaders to ensure that the toilet block is kept clean. When more than one group is using the campsite, it is expected that each group will help in keeping the toilets clean, and in ensuring that they are left in a clean condition on departure. A box of cleaning equipment is available for use.
Vehicles
Vehicles are not normally allowed onto the camping area. Trolleys are available for transporting equipment from the car park. The Duty Warden may in certain circumstances allow specific vehicles onto the site to assist in the loading and unloading of equipment. All vehicles are to be left in the designated car park (at the owner's risk). Vehicles must be parked at 30 degrees to the boundary fence. Both sides of the main field gate are to be kept clear at ALL times to allow for access by emergency vehicles.
Camping Areas
The general cleanliness of the site, and of the camping area that you use, is your responsibility. Your allocated camping area may be altered at the discretion of the duty warden. The duty warden may ask to see the camping permit of the camp leader.
Rooms
At the end of a camp when buildings have been hired, all rooms are to be clean and tidy, and all furniture is to be returned to the appropriate place (as shown on the sheet or photograph in each room). The kitchen area (including the ovens, rings, and sink areas) is to be cleaned before leaving.
